Chest Press Hi, I'm Steve Johnson the. The exercise I'm going to show you is an intermediate level exercise called Chest Press with the barbell. Now the chest press is a very basic exercise to do this put your feet flat on the ground. From here, you're going to picked up your weight. You don’t want to start with the weight that is too heavy. You can always work through way up. So starting with our feet plat on the ground we're going slowly roll down this upon. You can out a small arch in your lower back and go ahead press the bars straight up. The thing about this exercise is the people often into themselves by working with too much weight or two going to deeper in the exercise. You can contract the chest the thighs squeeze and lower. As you lower, you don’t want your elbows to touch the ground. You can do this on your living floor at your local gym. So all is in the basic exercise I'm always warning my client to be careful with that. The muscles that where working here the mostly the Pectoralis major. That basically the major muscles with the chest. The primary mover but you also incorporating secondary movers like triceps, part of the shoulders, but you got to remember at the top of your motion don’t press forward with your shoulders to keep your chest in here. That’s part were squeezing at the top. The Roman believes that the prominent of the chest could determine the status the person on this spy. Okay let's do two more, one more now slowly low the bar and rock yourself up. Go and accept the weight to the side and recover. There is really great heaven nice chest pump going on. Good job.
