Chef Melissa Costello's Upgrading Food Success Story I like to talk a little bit about upgrading food and what that means and why it’s really important for women and upgrading food basically is taking a highly processed food and substituting a lower processed food. So what that could mean is white flour, you substitute white flour for whole grain flour or your substitute dairy if you have dairy problems with Almond milk, you make your own Almond milk or rice milk. So upgrading food is about taking a highly processed food and basically adding a lower processed food. And I find for women overtime what that really does is you know helps them with their health. Health is really is a lot of elements that they’re having mostly digestive issues. A lot of women have digestive issues of bloating and gas and I find that when I suggest food upgrading that it really helps them with those issues. And also, I mentioned earlier about you know cycles and — and women cycle is really kind of leveling out with their hormones. I find that the food upgrade has also helped that as well.
