Dr. Drew Ordon: Only way for a Buccal Fat Pad to go away on its own is literally to starve yourself. It's like the last fat in your body to go away. We're going to make an incision right through that mucosa. I only go through the lining and look at this, look at this Buccal Fat Pad, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. What I do is I slowly tease this. So you see this. I do not want to let it go, see that yellow, see that wave, that was the mother load. I do what I call a about a 95% extraction of this. Now that is a pretty significant Buccal fat pad and already do you see, do you see the difference in that silhouette. Let's do the other side. Again, I'm looking at this so called bite line. I'm bluntly going through and here we go. We look, how this is just popping out, sort of like a pimple. I used my index as a fulcrum and I just gently tease out. Again, we're done. It looks like an egg yolk, doesn't it? And this is not the appearance of fat that you would see in doing liposuction. This is a specific different type of fat. Let's close this up from couple dissolvable stitches. This heals so quickly so well, in a matter of days. This is the last stitch, could not look any better. We have no bruising, very good. That's the procedure. Male Speaker: Well, Cherie is here this now, and welcome. Cherie: Thank you. Male Speaker: We have been talking how good you look, but before we are going further, I want you to look at your before picture. Cherie: Okay. Male Speaker: And now let's put the two of you side by side. What do you say? Cherie: I love it.
