Why are we seeing an increase in Type 2 diabetes cases among children? Sharon Schwarz: And so I think it just in general with society, I think it just you know we have computers, we have video games and kids in general are just not as active. And even in school we really have to push for more PE and more recess time. The kids are required to learn a lot more at much younger age so in order to have that classroom time often they’ve take them away form PE and recess so the kids really don’t get outside and play. You know I think we all age a lot of different junk foods when we grow up that we want outside and we run it off so I think the big different is that the kids don’t get the exercise that they use too. And uncertainly you know the drinks come in bigger containers and people I think are certainly drinking more sodas and more sweeten drinks than you know I guess in past were they just want as available for the children. Although the schools now have taken that out of the schools because they are certainly our feeling that obesity crunch that the whole nations is feeling.
