Raena Morgan: What kind of illnesses can be held by naturopathic medicine? Dr. Todd Ferguson: Potentially, all illnesses that don't necessarily mean that naturopathy should be used exclusively in all illnesses, but it has a potential to help most illnesses. A good example is cancer treatment centers of America has hired Oncologist for obvious reasons, but also hires naturopaths, and the reason is that the Oncologist take care of the medication, the chemotherapy, the radiation that side of things. The naturopaths are provides dietary things they can improve outcomes provides natural methods that help with side effects. So that's a good example of how-- Raena Morgan: That is. Yes. Dr. Todd Ferguson: And the both are working together. But naturopathy tends to do really well as chronic conditions. Largely because where how can people change their lifestyle or helping to find underlying causes where you know and chronic conditions just opt in our helped well conventionally, so that just often what ends up better door. I've tried everything I went everywhere nothing has worked now what can you do for me as what we often see. But conditions that are helped really well through naturopathic medicine are things like diabetes type II or it's called metabolic syndrome or enzyme resistance. Arthritis crush in fibromyalgia, gastro intestinal issues are probably one of the places we shine the most because the options there are usually aren't much. Raena Morgan: Like irritable bowl. Dr. Todd Ferguson: Irritable Bowel Syndrome is something we see a lot of also to Colitis and Crohn's disease in digestion heart burn, all these things are helped very well by naturopathic medicine as well as chronic skin conditions because, again they options conventionally aren't often much steroid cream or internal steroid and that's often they extend of it now that's simplified in a way too much. But we have many options to look at chronic skin condition, so again the chronic condition seem to we help really well. Raena Morgan: Thank you, Dr. Ferguson.
