Supplements are to supplement a good diet. They shouldn’t be considered to fill in all the holes with a for poor diet. So, yes they can be part of the program but by themselves probably do not reverse heart disease. However, if one needs, I do think supplements are a good idea and to take multivitamin and antioxidants twice a day, fish oil is a great supplement for the heart and pharmaceutical grade fish oil with a high level of omega-3 versus omega-6 and so there are various other supplements that can do a variety of things depending on what your risk factors are.
