Female: I'm talking with Dr. JaDean Anderson who is a chiropractor. Dr. Anderson, what about pregnancy? How about pregnant women should they come in for just administering during the pregnancy? JaDean: Yes, it's very common that we see a lot of pregnant women because their bodies are going through some dramatic changes. And within that – those changes we are seeing a lot of, low back problems and we can help decrease the pain. And increase comfort during the extreme changes of their body during the pregnancy. And then when it comes to you the delivery of the baby – with making sure that their pelvis is in alignment. We’ll aid in an easier birthing process for the child, because sometimes misalignments within the pelvis make a smaller opening for the child that actually go through. There are misalignments so having – properly aligned spine and pelvis will aid in the birthing process being less traumatic to the baby and the mother. Female: Most people don’t know that. That is good information, so you are saying that the pelvis can be affected by the misalignment? JaDean: Yes, whenever there is a misalignment within the spine or the pelvis. It's going to change the birthing canal opening – in some cases dramatically where if you are making sure that those bones are properly aligned. The birthing canal can be opened at its fullest, making it easier for the mother to give birth to the child. Female: The benefits would be an easier birth? JaDean: Yup. Female: At more comfortable pregnancy? JaDean: Yes, and ultimately easier on your child during the birthing process which is very dramatic. Female: And a woman should go to the whole nine months? JaDEan: To be checked throughout the whole pregnancy is very beneficial to the mother and the child. Female: Thank you Dr. Anderson.
