Hi everybody! I am Melanie Raposo, and welcome to Mommy's Minute. You just find out you are pregnant so you are probably anxious to calculate your due date. Most pregnancies on average last 40 weeks. Keeping that in mind you can calculate your due date by following this three-step-method. First figure out the day of your last menstrual period. Let's say it's October 23, 2007. Then subtract three calendar months from that date, so July 23, 2007. Finally, add one year and seven days to that date, and your due date is July 30, 2008. But keep in mind that this date is just an estimate, and most pregnant women give birth two weeks before or after their due date.
