Brittany After Her Facial Reconstruction Surgery Dr. Travis Stork: So I got a question. Are you ready to see Brittany? Dr. Andrew Ordon: Yeah! Dr. Travis Stork: Well—just turned 21, Britney come on out. Welcome! Thanks for coming. Brittany: Hi! Thank you. Dr. Travis Stork: Welcome, have a sit right here. Brittany: Thank you. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Remarkable. Dr. Travis Stork: Unbelievable. Brittany: Thank you so much. Dr. Travis Stork: I want everyone to take one last look before the surgery and a big smile before and now after. And maybe more remarkable just looking at you in profile, I actually want to show the picture before in profile. Take a look at this. That is unbelievable. So is it true you used to always wear sunglasses? Brittany: It is true. I grew up with little children pointing out to me that my eyes were different sizes and it was true. But luckily I worked with great team of doctors at Rady Children’s Hospital and now I look like this. And I feel so fabulous. Dr. Travis Stork: And you realize you don’t need sunglasses anymore unless you want to block out the sunlight, right. Brittany: That is so true. Some people were born to fit in and be normal that some people are born to stand out and be different and I think I was one of those people. Dr. Travis Stork: That’s the attitude to have. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Now you can wear them to accessorize. Brittany: Yeah. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Good job. Dr. Travis Stork: Everyone agrees that Brittany, she doesn’t need sunglasses, don’t you? This is an amazing result and more importantly, you kept a great attitude throughout and this is icing on the cake for you, right. Brittany: It’s true. Dr. Andrew Ordon: This is the first time we’ve talk about what we call cranial facial surgery and plastic surgery. This is a whole new level what we can do changing facial skeletons like they did for Brittany. Good stuff. Dr. Travis Stork: And a special thanks to Dr. Cohen. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Good work Dr. Travis Stork: They’re amazing. Amazing job. And thank you, happy birthday. And good luck to yourself. Thank you so much with this.
