Melanie Raposo: Hi! Everybody I am Melanie Raposo and welcome to Mommy's Minute. The most important part of you breast feeding your baby is making sure, that it latches on correctly. Here are some basic position when breast feeding your baby. The cradle position will give you the most control of your infant. In this position your baby lies sideways with it's mouth level your nipple. The clutch position also known as a football hold is great women who just had a C section. With this position, the baby faces you while you support it's head in your hand and the baby's back rest against your arm beside you. The lying down sideways position is comfortable and is great when you are feeling tired. In this position both mom and baby lie down facing each other, you can place the pillow behind your babies neck to make sure it doesn't roll away from you.
