Hi everybody! I'm Melanie Raposo and welcome to Mommy's Minute. One of the hardest parts going back to work after having a baby is breastfeeding. Your options for breastfeeding in the workplace really depend on your boss's attitude towards feeding, the nature of your job and your hours. Some companies have special breastfeeding areas for new moms to feed their babies. In addition, some workplaces also have on-site daycares, meaning that your baby is taken care of while you're at work. Pumping your breast milk is also another option. Also, make sure to follow a more relaxed breastfeeding schedule on weekends. These feedings are the perfect time to really bond with your baby.
