Breast Restoration without Implants Christina: Hi everybody! Dr. Drew Ordon: Hi there Christina. Christina: Thanks for having me on today. Well I’m a mom of two and I have no plans to be a mother of three and I notice that after breastfeeding my son I had a dramatic decrease in breast volume and now I finish breastfeeding my daughter I still have the same problem. Is there anything I can do to fix that without having breast implant? Dr. Drew Ordon: Absolutely there is Christina and you know like so many women that have gone through pregnancy, the changes that most women see in their breast after having kids, you already answered my first question, it sounds like you’ve done having your kids so you could be a good candidate to go ahead with surgery. The key question is, are you happy with the volume you have? If you are, then maybe breast lifting would be the best procedure for you using your own breast tissue. We actually move that and give you back the fullness that you lost on top and at the same time tighten your skin, move the nipple areola reduce that if it’s large. If you want more volume the only permanent way to do that is with a breast implant, either silicon or saline. Some doctors are talking about injecting your own fat into your breast to a larger breast but that’s still an unproven, unpredictable procedure.
