Breast Augmentation: Keller Funnel Implant Device Karen: The way I would like my breast to look is to be perky, more full and just not sag. Doctors, are there any new type of implants out there that can help me out? Dr. Travis Stork: Welcome back. Today we are tackling your biggest body concerns that start with the letter ‘B’ and you are just saw Karen asking about the latest in breast implant procedures. So, what can you tell us Dr. Ordon? Dr. Andrew Ordon: Well there is something new and you know, this is my 30th year doing breast augmentation. Dr. Travis Stork: Wow. Dr. Lisa Masterson: Wow. Dr. Andrew Ordon: It is sort of like a big anniversary here. And thousands of breasts laying there and you would think, well, watch new, yes we have a saline, we have a silicone. The implants have improved but there are something that is brand new that we are doing that has not really ever been done. And what it’s called is the ‘no touch technique’. With breast augmentation, you know hardening, the caps or contracture is always been our problem. We’ve speculated that it could due to infections, bacteria or the talic on your gloves. So, what we have come up with instead of touching the implant with your hands that coming contact with the body, it is called the ‘no touch technique’ and we use this introduction sleeve in surgery. Everything has to be nice there. Dr. Jim Sears: Sterile conditions Dr. Andrew Ordon: Sterile conditions but the point is that that your hands would not come in contact with this. You put it in right, and you’ll actually squeeze this through just like I’ve said, “See? You see the solid cone coming out.” And then… Dr. Travis Stork: You squeeze that into the area where the breast? Dr. Andrew Ordon: Travis, we’re going to do that right now. Jim you will do a little breast augmentation. Dr. Jim Sears: I’m going to be your assistant. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Okay. Dr. Lisa Masterson: Do they go under that muscle? Do they go under the muscle? Dr. Andrew Ordon: Well, and that’s another thing over the years we’ve found that we go above the muscle and we go below the muscle. And every woman has little bit different and there’s the right way and we’re going to stick this down. Are you ready for some…. Dr. Jim Sears: Sure. Dr. Andrew Ordon: Breast surgery Jim and we get this all out away. Alright, we’re going to show you now how we actually do it in surgery. We insert the implant into our introduction sleeve. Very good Jim and Jim is retracting really nicely for me and I push down on this. And then I say, “Jim, don’t let go”. And then I go Walla.. Dr. Lisa Masterson: Wow. Dr. Jim Sears: Wow, nice! Dr. Andrew Ordon: So, Travis, that is the no touch technique and there are advantage just to it. And I’ll show you the result of how these work at one gal. She went from A-cup to a nice C cup, good result she is happy, she fills out that bathing suite and this is what we call the no touch technique. Dr. Travis Stork: Alright, fantastic.
