Eating a few healthy power foods in the morning can help you stay young. First protect your eyesight with an egg. Research shows that eggs are even better eye protecting your vision than carrots because they contain more antioxidants known as carotenoids. Well, eggs don't contain as many vision improving carotenoids as darkly the green veggies. Your body is better able to absorb the antioxidants from eggs. Another age-defying power food is whole grain cereal. The Iowa Women's Health Study would have just followed nearly 42,000 postmenopausal women for more then 15 years. Reports said women who ate 11 or more servings of whole grains each week were about one-third less likely to die of an inflammatory disorder like asthma, diabetes, or heart disease than those who have the least.
