Daddy Clay: Hey welcome back to the lab. I am Daddy Clay. Daddy Brad: And I am Daddy Brad. Once again the lab is on the road. We are here in the Big Apple, that is New York City. Daddy Clay: We have come all the way here to the big city because Baby Bjorn is on veiling. They have a great product, this is called the Baby Sitter Balance. We are really excited to learn all about it so, we go inside but first we have to brave the Urban Jungle to get there. Daddy Brad: It is right across the street. Daddy Clay: I know. I am scared. I think we could do it. Daddy Brad: You are country boy. Daddy Clay: Let us go. So, we are here at Annie from Baby Bjorn and she is going to show me the way around this cool new baby sit. Annie: Hi, Clay. Daddy Clay: Hey. Annie: This is our new Baby Sitter Bbalance. Daddy Clay: Yes. Annie: The Baby Sitter Balance with couple unique features about it. Which it actually has three different positions for baby. This is actually the lowest position which is really for sleep. There is a standard position for resting or playing or eating snacks, and then also a fully almost upper right position for playing or eating as well, so three different positions. Daddy Clay: A position man you are bouncing, you are grooving. Daddy Clay: Well, the unique feature about the baby run Baby Sitter Balance is a fact that it no batteries are required. All of the movements by the sitter is controlled by the baby. So, as baby kicks or bounces the sitter moves itself. Daddy Clay: That is good. Because dad, it seems like dad always in charge the batteries. Turn me it is like my department, so the fear those the better. Annie: The way the baby sitter balance has been designed is that you can see how this is kind of like a pouch so, the baby sits down into this sitter and the cloth actually hugs the baby. It is almost just like being a mom or dad arms. So, they feel comfortable and secure while they are sitting in the baby sitter. The fabric is completely reversible. So, you can either change the look of the sitter or if baby has an accident in that sitter you can actually remove the fabric completely and it is machine washable. Daddy Clay: Okay, check out. Daddy Clay: And it is well reversible if you want to have the black instead of the red you could do that as well. Daddy Clay: Well, clearly it should coordinate with the child, okay. Annie: And also, as with all, a Baby Bjorn products that have a textile component the fabric is Earthchitecter certified that is like very strict to European textile standard that guaranties that the fabric does not contain in chemicals that are harmful to the baby. Daddy Clay: So what is the specs here. What is the weight limit upper and lower ends? Daddy Clay: You can use it with newborn’s with as little as eight pounds up to 29 pounds which is another unique feature of this sitter is that it does have a very useful life the longer life than many bouncy chairs. As when the child gets older you can actually remove this restraint system and the child in this upper right position the child can get in and out on their own use it as a comfortable chair. Daddy Clay: So, Annie. Your hitting the road, you want to take this bad boy with you. What is the trick? Annie: Actually it is very simple, it will fold down completely flat, so that you can either store it or put in the back the mini van for your trips away. Daddy Clay: Send it with your wife when she goes to visit the mother-in-law and you stay home to watch your ball game. You would not do that. I mean, when you go with the family on an outing. Amanda: There are three things that we really like about the Baby Sitter Balance in our testing. I think one of the first things that we like a lot is that it is not battery powered it is all baby powered. We like it because it helps prevents some sleep problems that we see in babies. Babies who are in a swing or in a chair that continues to move after they falling a sleep become a custom to needing to be movin
