So this exercise is, the pushup, a simple pushup. And there are many ways you can do this. You can do with both arms, one arm one leg, both legs or on your knees depending on your level of strength. I am going to show you normal pushup both arms both legs. This works a lot of the chest muscles, the anterior shoulder, front of the shoulders and triceps here mostly. And a little bit core strengthening too, a little bit of hip flexor and abdominal strength both also. So to do this correctly you basically get in the plank position, just like this and it's as simple as just lowering down toward your chest barely touching and then come back. How I see people doing this incorrectly is their arms are way out here too much or they bring their elbows just by their sides and I shouldn't say done incorrectly, because you can do them that way safely. It's just that a 45-degree where the elbows come out just a little bit from the body and back up, is the most efficient safest way to do this exercise.
