Being Treated for Fibrothecoma at Mayo Clinic They just called and did a survey this week – excellent! I said, “If there was a higher rating than that I would put it up there.” I said, “Out of 1 to 10 it’s a 12, you know, it’s fabulous.” If I rang my buzzer the nurse was there in a flash. It was just extraordinary. The food was good. I had a beautiful room, a big room with a big window looking out on the desert and the care was just phenomenal. I didn’t know what to expect and I never was in any pain and the only thing that was wrong was that I wasn’t getting enough oxygen just naturally so I was on oxygen and they came and gave me breathing treatments, even in the middle of the night, to make sure that I was getting enough oxygen because I think your oxygen level, you don’t breathe as deeply in the middle of the night, so they would come and wake me up and give it to me. I didn’t even mind because I didn’t want to have any problems and the day before I was released they wanted to be sure I didn’t have pneumonia. So they took me down and I had an x-ray, and then that didn’t show any pneumonia but I still wasn’t getting, you have to have more than 90% oxygen and the next day they wanted to be sure I didn’t have an embolism and they took me and I had a, I think it’s a CAT scan to be sure I didn’t have one; I didn’t have one. So they sent me home with oxygen and I was fine after that.
