Becoming Pregnant After a Chlamydia Diagnosis Well we can’t guarantee that, I mean in some cases exposure to chlamydia can cause scarring, can cause some issues with fallopian tubes, ovaries that might make pregnancy more difficult, but we certainly have seen patients who have been exposed to chlamydia that had chlamydia infections in the past and have gone on to have normal pregnancies. But there’s no guarantee and, you know, the best thing would be to get it taken care of as soon as you can. Which specialist should a woman see is she thinks she has Chlamydia? If a woman suspects that she has chlamydia or suspects that she has been exposed to chlamydia then she should see her physician, whether that be an OB/GYN or whether that be a primary care provider. If a woman doesn’t have access to either of those there are usually county clinics that can help a patient be diagnosed and get treated for that.
