I decided to do the basal body test because I had a recommendation from my acupuncturist. My results, from what I had known at the time, had come back fine, and so, he sent me a scan of a page where it told me how to take my basal body temperature and it told me that at the beginning of your period, on the second day of your period, you should take your basal body temperature in the morning within the first five minutes of when you wake up and record it every morning for those five days and your normal range, based off of what he sent me, should be 97.8 to 98.2 and my basal body temperature never got above 97.18 and it was some days it was in the 96 range.
