Lee Hayward: Hello its lee Hayward here from LeeHayward.com and in this quick video clip I am going to show you hybrid exercise that will target both the biceps and the shoulders. It's the barbell curl and press. To perform the barbell curl and press I am going to take a shoulder with grip on the barbell with the under hand curl grip and then just simply curl the bar up just like you would do with a regular bicep curl, and then press it straight over head as you would with reverse grip shoulder press. And hybrid exercises like this are great for hitting multiple muscle groups and adding some variety to your work outs because it can really change up you know your standard front of the mill exercises and give you some unique training stimulus and some variety. And here you can see on the video that Patricia's performing the exercises well. One of the big misconceptions when it comes to weight training is that men and women have to do different workouts, but that's just not the case both man and women have the exact same age of muscle groups and those major muscle groups need to be hit with the same exercises, so when the case of this exercise that can be performed by both men and women.
