The next move is called the Karate Kid. Pick the leg that you feel most comfortable with. All you are going to do is stand on one leg, catch your balance. What you want to think about is holding through your core. Good. You just got to hold in that balance. Once you feel comfortable with this, you can try for the next progression to close your eyes. It is going to make it more challenging to keep that balance. Good. I am holding it. Good. And then you are going to switch sides. Same thing. You might find one side a little bit trickier. I am holding through my core, closing my eyes. Okay, so let us try the move, karate kid. Again, think about your balance point first. Focusing your head is a really good idea. Holding through that core nice and strong, holding through this part of your body. Good. Now when you are ready, if you feel comfortable, you can take it to the next level by shutting your eyes. Very good. You are not holding that balance. If you open your eyes, you will refocus easily and you can catch your balance. Try doing that before putting your foot down. Good. Okay, switch sides. Looking good! Again, you want to think nice and tall, lifting that chest, holding through the core. Posture is really, really important. Awesome! Holding it, holding it, holding it! Balancing. Excellent! Okay, so that one is called the karate kid.
