We offer a home sleep diagnostics program that allows our patients to be tested in the comforts of their own home, in their own bed, in their own environment where they often feel they get a better night sleep than in a foreign bed, very much like a hotel room, where they may not be able to get the quality of night sleep that they usually have where they are in a foreign place where they may feel disrupted. It’s very uncomfortable for patients sometimes. The accuracy of the machinery are identical. On the other hand, the number of parameters monitored is reduced in the home setting versus the laboratory setting and there are some advantages and disadvantages of both.
