Host: What question should I ask my doctor about strokes? Dr. Nina Solenski: One of the most important questions is identifying your risk factors and asking the doctor, "Do I have any risk factors?" It might be that he has identified that you are a little overweight or that you do smoke cigarettes and maybe, during the course of a very busy appointment for some other reason, they may not mention to you that how important it is to stop smoking or continue exercising so that that's very important. So identifying your risk factors and understanding what they are and what you can do right now to fix those are important.
