Female Speaker: Are nuts fattening? Tracee Yablon Brenner: That s a myth that nuts are fattening. Nuts really have a lot of benefits such as protein, Omega-3 fatty acids which help with your HTL cholesterol levels. There are a lot of benefits. If you have about a half an ounce of nut today that's about 270 calories. So, you have to be aware of how many nuts you are having, but they are quite beneficial to have during your day.
