Arabesque Leg Lifts Exercise Hi my name is Susannah Wendell and I'm from Los Angeles California. I keep my clients psyched up by constantly setting goals. My philosophy is you got to have a goal. Today I'm going to show you an intermediate exercise. An Arabesque Leg Lift, the Arabesque is going to work all the glottal muscles and the legs and the tights and the balance. This is an intermediate exercise requiring balance. I want you to begin with the abdominals pulled up and in. Feet together, open the arms wide so you can help yourself balance and extend the legs straight back making sure to keep the knee tight. Come over slightly and we’re going to lift and lower. Feeling the glottal working keeping the abdominals pulled in and the back extensors tight, don’t forget to breath if you’re doing it right, you’re going to feel the tension in your glottal, your abdominals will stay pulled in and there will be no pressure on the back Watch out for topping in the pelvis and throwing the back up and in. You want to maintain your line and keep the body straight over and exhale, breath exhale, breath. That’s it, before you know it you’ll be ready for summer.
