Let’s be honest. Many of us have experienced to anger to the point where we wanted to hit something. According to the American Psychological Association, some anger is a normal and healthy part of being human. But when anger affects your quality of life checking to how to better manage this emotion before it manages you. When you feel angry, try these strategies. Breathe deeply, picture your breath coming from your gut. Imagine a relaxing experience whether it’s in your backyard or a place you’ve never visited. Slowly repeat a calm word or phrase and do this while you breathe deeply. Practice slow exercises like yoga that can relax your muscles and make you feel calmer. Some people engage in regular-physical activity while they’re thinking about the issues that prompt their anger. For them its one way to release those negative emotions.
