During the post-menopausal years, women are exposed to gaining weight, having a different body shape with abdominal adiposity, aging of the skin, and although hormones may help in this area, if they cannot use hormones, a good lifestyle, diet, stopping smoking or at least decreasing smoking, doing exercise, and running or walking, have really some additional benefits that can help the women go through this phase of their life with less need for hormones.
