I was seeing a doctor who is an ‘H-Mole’ Generalist that happened to be a rheumatologist. And he was more focused on general medication. So, he kept me going with an older generation of medicine that helped but it didn’t really helped as much as some of the newer medications could have. Actually, when my insurance program changed, I decided to do a little research and find somebody who was totally focused on rheumatology. And I happened to find an excellent doctor in the city who advised me, he took through all the different medications that were out there, what the pros and cons of them were. For example, am I comfortable giving myself a shot? But I want to come in to the doctor’s office on a regular basis. A lot of those answers from me personally was no and we ended up finding a drug that within 30 days, it really reduced my symptoms drastically.
