Advice for Women with Sexual Health Problem - Kim's Story For any of you who are suffering or struggling or concerned about any of the things that I have talked about, and if you’ve been discouraged in the past by doctors who were not sympathetic or empathetic to you, I say keep looking. Keep looking. Do not give up. This is far too important to you in your overall health and well being, to your partner, if you have one. It’s just too critical to not pursue finding someone like Dr. Goldstein, finding a sexual medicine or sexual health specialist who can look at the whole person and look at the entire realm of possibilities that could be causing whatever is ailing you or troubling you or bothering you, and you’ve got to own it. You’ve got to take control of it. You have to be empowered to take action and do something and if you don’t, you have only yourself to blame. So don’t do what I did. Don’t wait. Don’t allow yourself to wallow in the discouragement and the kind of defeatist attitude that we can all take on, that says, “This isn’t the most important thing, or we have other things that are more pressing.” There is nothing more important and more pressing than your overall health and well being, and if you don’t get that right you are of no use to anybody else, especially to yourself. Hi, my name is Kim and for the past 23 years I have “suffered” from a low sexual desire, low libido, menopause, hypoactive sexual desire disorder. I have heard it call the any number of things and I finally found someone to help me with this. I would love to hear from all of you, any of you, with your particular stories about what you have experienced and perhaps together we can help many other women who are struggling with this same situation, find help, find hope, and find treatment. Thanks.
