The next year is going to be horrible. Forgive yourself anything for the next year, and let yourself feel what you need to feel, but it will get better. Right now, you are swimming in emotions and diagnoses and terms and very scary things, and just give yourself time to process it. But when you come out of it, you won’t believe how far you have come within a year.
