David Feifel: David you are experiencing any itchiness or there is no redness there. Jennifer: David has ADHD and gets his medication through a skin patch hidden underneath his clothes. David Feifel: It is essentially the same chemical that is in Ritalin. Jennifer: Dr.Feifel says it may be the same chemical but the patch seems to have a big advantage of repels. David Feifel: Some of the side effects are that we think about with Ritalin or due to all these contributed by the fact that it’s Rollo coaster. Jennifer: With the pill the level of drug in the body fluctuates causing moodiness, jitters or changes in appetite. The patch applies an even dose of the drug and appears to reduce the side effects. Martin Garcia: They don’t know that the patch for nothing in this is seeing like a normal kid. Jennifer: For David it seems to be working. David Garcia: Well I didn’t have the patching I didn’t get that much home work done. Jennifer: Now in just one day he gets his home work done for the entire week and knows one at school has to know he is on medication. Rocio Garcia: Its is very important that is covered and I its very important to me how David feels about himself. Jennifer: David will drink to that. This is Jennifer Matthew reporting.
