Male speaker: Anyone ever have a sleepless night, not because of no sex for because of toothache; clap your hands. Well, it happened - he posted this message on her facebook page. I read that "alcohol can relieve a toothache." Is this really true? Andrew Ordon: True. It does work, but you don't have to drink it. Pour a little shot either of your scotch, your whisky, or your vodka into a shot glass, soak it with a little cotton ball, oh! my tooth gem, fix up. Male speaker: You look like you are in pain. Andrew Ordon: So, put it next to that tooth. Alcohol is a natural local anesthetic. Let it sit there for a second, it will soothe that tooth pain. Male speaker: So, that really works. Andrew Ordon: Yes, for the tooth. Male speaker: And most of the time, if you have a severe toothache, you need to go and get it checked out. I have a lot of people come into the ER after ignoring a pain like that for few days and by the time they come in they will have a big dental abscess that can get ugly quickly and in many case you've got to get that tooth out of there because it is secondary to tooth decay. In the meantime, you can soak it with alcohol.
