Women can do anything men can do including cheating on their spouses. According to the New York Times, the general social survey, out of the University Of Chicago shows that infidelity is on the rise as it were. And that women appears to be cheating on their spouses as much as men. Reasons for cheating vary. For older couples, new treatments are allowing people to be sexual or longer. Who knew a hip replacement could make you horny? And for younger couples, the internet plays an important role providing access to attitude shifting pornography and to actual real people. Helen Fisher, Research Professor, Anthropology at Rutgers University notes that in hunching and gathering societies there's no evidence that women are less adulterous than men. We can hunt and gather with the best of them. However, historically men have been seen as virile for cheating while women have been considered promiscuous and that’s just a fancy word for slutty. So maybe this isn’t a new trend after all and women have just been lying about laying. Don’t despair, the survey also shows that married men and women have the most active sex lives reporting sex with their spouse 58 times a year. We’re marrying. We get to have sex. We get to have sex 58 times a year. That’s more than once a week. Well, married people, you don’t have to get all braggy about it.
