Is the new 90210 hurting their most recent body acceptance movement. Are the lead actresses way to skinny. It is reported that the two main characters whose names you most likely do not know yet but are Shanae Grimes and Jessica Stroup are weathering away. While supportive co-stars want you to believe that the girls have naturally high metabolisms, others are saying that the two change smoke and leave on breathe strips and ice coffee. Shanae weights an estimated 90 lbs, while Jessica who is 5” taller at 5’8” weights only 100 lbs. Many of the viewers of the new 90210 are outraged and have actually posted on CW’s 90210 message board requesting that the producers have the girls gain some weight. Is this shows setting a bad example for what a successful 18 year old or 21 year old should look like? Even gossip girls is that Penn Badgley decided the weighing saying that he hopes the girls eat a double of cheese burger. We think it he has got a little too far but we definitely agree with him that they do need to add a little bit of meat to their bones. Consequently, after he decides to comments on this skinniness of the girls in 90210, the actresses were compared to the female leads in his show gossip girl. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, they are reportedly said that the girls in New York are naturally curvier than L.A. They said that in L.A the standard of thinness is almost unattainable.
