Seven steps eating healthy at Chinese Restaurants, My name is Ala Luke from www.wokfusion.com. When you are dining out a Chinese Restaurants, try to avoid going to as large buffet places. Since many of them have a lot of greasy foods, the best way to eat healthy is eat a well balanced meal. It is important to you the good portion of vegetables over rice and meat. You may prefer to stay away from those greasy foods such as egg rolls empty fried dishes. These dishes stem from the root of American-Chinese type of Restaurants, here are some ideas for you to consider you dining out. First what you need to do is find a great restaurants. How do I go back doing these? Well go talk to your friends and family and ask of which restaurants they experienced in the past. And you talk to co-worker, they may have the similar taste that you may have and you may want to share the same experiences with them as well. Looking in the local newspaper and internet sites to find what sites or places are recommended for restaurants. You also may want to stray away from local town if you do live in a small to find a well good restaurant. The second thing is choose the right dishes. Do not forget that you will share your meals with other people of table. In Chinese traditional meals, you share your dishes as a group and not just eating one every time. You want to share all dishes in the table with each other. You first want to start your meal with the soup for everyone and what this does as it helps your stomach from absorbing the fatty foods that you will be eating through out your meal. You want tried a way -- try to stay away from foods from have a lot of fat such as fried dumplings, fried wantons, egg rolls of possible. For vegetable dishes, you should choose a dish such as a back choy or green beans or vegetables. The third thing you want to do is choose a tea flavor and this is the tea that you will sharing with others in your party. They are many teas available and so much common teas are jasmine, oolong and black tea. If you are not familiar with these teas, you may want to ask the waiter and try a common and less bitter tea that suits your taste buds. Four, avoid eating a lot of rice. Rice will fill you up quick and there are many carbohydrates in rice. In general, try to eat more rice than meat and sea food. Five, be careful of food allergies. May you want to avoid MSG which is known as Monosodium glutamate in your foods. Some of the restaurants do not allow you to this but you talk to them or you should ask them. And many from the waiter if you ask, so please ask them politely. Six, avoid other ingredients. Some foods are high in sugar and starches which add to the number of carbohydrates in your food. Eat food with less salt which could include heavy amount of soy sauce and other salty gravy. Seven, eat less dessert. Some of the desserts are high in sugar and have fatty ingredients.
