When you're trying to cramp 27 hours worth of work, play, and chores into 24, you have no time to feel tired. Although, any type of exercise can give you a boost, these explosive power moves will give you the biggest payoff. Start with Skip Hops. Set forward on your left foot, and as you land, hop in to the air bending your right knee in front. Land on your right foot and hop again. Moving across the room with arms swinging in opposition to your legs. Skip for two minutes. Next, try in Out & In March. March in place as quickly as possible. Stepping out with your right foot, then your left foot to either side, and then stepping each foot back in. You go out, out, in, in. Let your arms swing naturally. Repeat for 30 seconds. Then do another 30 seconds starting with your left foot. Ready? Now jump rope. Holding a real or imaginary rope. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, and jump for 30 seconds. Landing softly on the balls of your feet with knees bent. Last, try Side Shuffle Sprints. Squat with your feet hip-width apart, toes pointing forward, and travel sideways by shuffling your feet to the left for four counts. Then shuffle back to the right for four counts. Repeat alternating sides for one minute. Try one of these workouts to really rev things up whenever your energy dips.
