2-Minute Yoga Stretches During and hour of yoga a day is a nice idea but who really has the time? It turns out that during short bouts of stretching three times a week can maintain your flexibility just as well as doing longer sessions five days a week. So try this quick routine you can do at home or at the office. First, open up your chest by standing in a doorway with your arms to your sides. Place your palms and forearms against the wall and then walk forward for a gentle stretch. Next, you can open up your hips by placing your right foot on sturdy desk chair and then shifting your weight forward. Don’t feel a gentle stretch on the front of the left hip and then switch sides. Finally, you can stretch your neck by placing your right hand on top of your head and lowering your right ear toward your shoulder. Bend, do the same thing on the left side. You’re going to want to hold each stretch for 10 seconds and repeat it three times. Check back tomorrow for more 60-second solutions.
