

Pediatric radiology is a subspecialty of Radiology. Upon completion of medical school, the radiologist completes a five-year residency program. The pediatric radiologist completes a one-year fellowship program, specializing in the diagnosis of children and infants using imaging equipment. Pediatric radiologists ensure that testing of children is done safely, and interpret the results of the studies done.
