

Many state and local health departments throughout the United States provide travel immunizations. Your primary health care provider is also an excellent resource and can find out from the CDC website what immunizations are required or recommended for the area you are visiting.
Stay Healthy
Wash your hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand gel.
Drink bottled beverages with sealed tops. Avoid ice.
Do not handle animals, especially monkeys, dogs and cats.
Eat only well cooked foods. Avoid unpasteurized dairy products and raw fruits and vegetables, including salads.
Limit alcohol intake and use safety restraints in motor vehicles.
Use insect repellent and sunblock.
