Two Days Before Competition

Two days before an event is an excellent time to get more rest, and a good way to achieve this goal is to eliminate the morning training schedule. The afternoon training should be reduced to no more than 1.5 hours, with a moderate to low intensity. The focus should be on reviewing skills and reinforcing the mental strategy it will take to compete effectively. Of course, carbohydrate and fluid intake should remain high.
