Reaching Up and Down

While sitting or standing with your arms at your sides, reach up with one hand toward the ceiling and reach down with the other hand toward the floor (figure 4.7). Hold this stretch for 10 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 to 5 times. Do the stretch with arms in the opposite positions.
