Gluteal Stretch

Sit in a chair or lie on your back. Flex one knee toward your chest and place your hands around the front of your knee, pulling toward the opposite shoulder and feeling the stretch in your gluteal area (figure 4.9). Hold this position for 10 to 30 seconds and repeat 3 to 5 times. Perform the stretch on the opposite side.
