When you thought back over the last year, there were the unanticipated breaks in activity, such as already discussed, and you probably had some changes that could have been anticipated. Instead of waiting for that bad weather day and skipping your routine because it isn't feasible, plan ahead. Come up with some alternative workout regimens that you can slip into your routine when necessary. Note that I didn't wait for the gym where I workout to alter its hours, I had a backup routine that I could do at home. The two most common breaks to routine that you can anticipate are trips and bad weather.
