Aerobic Activities

As noted, activities that are continuous, rhythmic, and use larger muscle groups stimulate the cardiovascular system optimally. The most common of these exercises are walking, running, cycling, and swimming. I will discuss some of the benefits that have been identified for each activity and make suggestions for using that mode of exercise.
