Grilled shrimp with lime cream.Serve alongside a colorful salad and couscous. Here’s an easy couscous recipe: Bring 1 3/4 cups low sodium chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Stir in 1 cup couscous. Cover and turn off heat. Let stand 15 minutes; fluff with a fork. Stir in chopped fresh cilantro, mint, or parsley. Soak wooden skewers in warm water one hour before threading meat to avoid burning skewers.

Makes 2 servings


  • 1 pound unpeeled large fresh shrimp
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 2 large limes)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper


Peel shrimp, leaving tails on, if desired. Place in a shallow dish.

Stir together lime juice and next 4 ingredients. Pour over shrimp; tossing to coat thoroughly. Thread shrimp onto wooden skewers.

Grill shrimp over medium-high heat 1 minute on each side or just until shrimp turn pink. Serve with Lime Cream.

Lime Cream Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime rind
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Stir together all ingredients. Serve with Grilled Shrimp.
