blueberry flax smoothie

Try this low calorie, diabetes-friendly recipe for blueberry flax yogurt smoothie. Great for a warm day or an easy breakfast to take with you to work.

Makes 1 serving


  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ large banana, chilled
  • 1 (6-ounce) container light vanilla yogurt (no sugar added)
  • 2 teaspoons ground flax seeds


Place all ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
