Serves 6

1/4 pound spicy Italian sausage, casings removed
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup dried Italian breadcrumbs
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup egg substitute*
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons oregano or Italian seasoning
2 (25.5-ounce) jars low-sodium pasta sauce*
1 pound fresh or dried spaghetti

* Note: For testing purposes only, we used Egg Beaters egg substitute and Prego Heart Smart Traditional Pasta Sauce.

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl and gently mix with hands to combine. Shape mixture into 30 golf ball size meatballs and place in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.

Heat pasta sauce just until boiling; pour over meatballs, cover with foil, and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions and keep warm. Serve meatballs and sauce over pasta.
