Oral Cancer

Oral cancer is a fairly common type of cancer that targets the mouth and throat. Because of where it’s located, oral cancer is typically first detected by dentists. Finding and treating the cancer early is key to a quick and smooth recovery.

Similar to other types of cancer, oral cancer is staged based on its severity and where the tumor is located. Treatments vary by stage, but can include surgery, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and/or chemotherapy.
