Medical Toxicology is a subspecialty of Preventive Medicine. Medical Toxicologists are experts in prevention and treatment of injury and illness from toxic exposures to drugs, chemicals, biological or radiological agents. Medical toxicologists provide poison control center leadership and advise public health policy.
