Tips for Hypothyroidism
Tips for

Hypothyroidism is associated with an increase in body weight, in the form of fat, and negative effects on cholesterol levels and bone health. It’s important to address body fat healthily as obesity can take a significant toll on the heart and overall health. One way to fight fat is with a good cup of fresh-brewed green tea

Green tea is one of the most widely consumed beverages. Long-term consumption has shown to decrease body weight in the form of fat, providing favorable effects on body composition.

Hypothyroidism can have a negative effect on cholesterol levels, leading to an increase in total and LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol. High cholesterol, especially LDL cholesterol can deteriorate heart health. Green tea has shown to combat high cholesterol, decreasing total and LDL cholesterol. Green tea consumption may also provide bone-strengthening effects, preventing the risk of bone fractures and protecting against osteoporosis.

So take a 10-minute break. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea before getting back to the rest of your morning routine.
